We ship free worldwide. Normally you can expect your BORN Atelier bag between 7 and 18 days.
We use DHL for the majorety of our orders so you can easily track it with a tracking number which we send it to you.

Warranty

Change of mind returns are possible within 14 days of receipt, only if the items are unused and in original shape.
Please ship the return with a carrier of your choice. For your safety, make sure to get a tracking number so that carrier will refund you in the event of theft or loss during delivery to our workshop.

Returns

We offer a full manufacturers warranty against defects and we will replace-refund your product as neccessery.
In this cases, return shipping costs associated are covered by us. Please do send us email if this happens.

Refund policy

Returns

In order to return your items, you should do so in 14 days from receiving your order. Please send us an email when you post your package, confirming that the items are on their way.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused, undamaged and in the same condition that you received it. The items have to be returned in the same packaging.

Refunds (if applicable)
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within two weeks.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale items (if applicable)
Only regular priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.

To return your product, you should mail your product to: Graška cesta 19, 1270 Litija, SI

You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

Felt and leather in perfect synergy

Our philosophy is based on reusing and crafting. It all began with elements, directly reused from old suitcases and other accessories.
Philosophy that still lives in our products and mind. BORN Atelier products are now made from two key materials; felt & leather.
Each of them is produced and selected by our own researches and knowledge which was passed on to us by our ancestors.

All products are exclusively made from recycled & leftover materials. Each product is manufactured by hand with attention to every last detail in our studio near Ljubljana, Slovenia, Europe.

Felt

One of the key materials of our bags is felt.
We use only felt which is made from recycled plastic bottles. This felt has also excellent features such as extreme durability, it is stiff, does not stretch and is 4mm thick which provides perfect protection for electronic devices.

Leather

Our philosophy is based on reusing and not producing. We collect high-quality leftovers from wasteful industries. With this, we help the environment and ensure a limited edition of each leather. Information next to each bag shows you how many pieces were made from selected leather.

Our own developed design features.

One of our features of the bags is a special »bag in a bag« or removable pocket which you can use as an inside pocket or easily unpin it from the bag and use it as a small independent handbag. It has 3 compartments where you can put your tablets, notebooks, pens, keys, wallet, etc. When you do not need it anymore as an independent handbag you just zip it inside again and you have an inside p. Simple and slick.

4-layered strap

For more pleasant carrying of our bags, we decided that we will use an old handmade technique for our BORN Atelier strap. Our straps are made from 4 layers; (1) upper layer of leather which is wider and folded by hand over the middle core which contains (2) hard layer made from special mixed leather which gives straps the form, (3) reinforcement tape which enables our straps that cannot stretch, and the last is the (4) back layer of leather. A long process for the best comfort.
